    good day gentlemen.
    fabulous mild menthol shave today
    senator/platinum combo works nicely,no issues.
    always a treat to get a great shave with these razors as
    stainless de blades didn't exist then,only blue blades
    the tuxedo synthetic built a lovely proraso cream lather.
    matching splash to finish.
    awesome

    I only have experienced the RR budget soaps. The 3x milled soaps are usually not my thing.

    Cortinas and Escorts are really cool. My dad had two 60's Cortinas before I was born, and two mk2 Escorts when I was a kid.

    Maybe I should go and spectate a rally again to see some cool cars, haven't been to one in few years.


    Not my video, but perhaps Lahti Historic Rally could be interesting..

    very cool.my dad was a ford of england mechinic in the late 60s to early 70s and worked on a few different ford rally cars.i wish he had saved pics..;)

    They do take years to complete. That's what I'd get with a Bill Neumann soap. but I might get a 4 oz. sometime.

    Shave 19/30. I decided to use the Mühle Aloe soap today, maybe ten swirls on the puck and then a dab of cream to the brush. Pretty good combination I'd say, maybe I could have added still a bit more water to the lather, but the performance was still good.

    The blade wasn't cutting quite as efficiently as I would have liked, but it did the job. It would be interesting to try another brand of blade to see if I can notice a difference in longevity.
