1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable (setting 7)
    Rockwell DE Blade (?)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
    Arko SS
    Pinaud Clubman Classic AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 24 hrs

I decided to use my Slim this morning to continue the Arko and Adjustable theme. Got a great shave today on 2 passes without any drama. Post Shave was alum, with hazel and the Clubman Classic aftershave. I am with the youths this morning. Enjoy your day.
  5. Fine shaves, gentlemen!
  6. Thanks Daniel.
  7. Great way to close out on the Razorock Gold/PS combo, probably until next autumn. Had to be up real early to get ready for my first P.T. session(sore kneecap, it's been that way for about a month). I actually got up before my alarm so I shut it off. Anyway, back t0 the shave. Once again nice work setting it up, along the face and neck, with the Razorock Gold soap.I did better this time at Cactus Nation-fixing yesterdays miss. No cuts, no Knicks, no Polka-dots. PS aftershave worked in fine fashion.. Outta This World Excellent.

  12. Another shave (the 4th) with the same Feather blade. I am amazed at how many shaves I get off a single Feather blade. This is my 4th shave with the Feather blade in my R41. I really like the TOOBS Rose. I am getting better with adding the proper amount of water to the creams. Soaps need more. Another nice shave! I got a nice ratio today and had mounds of cream that was not too watery. With soaps I keep the brush full of water but, with creams I shake out most of the water and add tiny amounts of hot water if needed.

The Shaving "Supervisor" kinda got in my way this morning!

  13. Awesome shave Hogie. I can get 4 on a Feather, beyond that is pushing it.

  14. Yes, I am making this the last shave on that blade. I toss other blades after 2 shaves. They so cheep, why push it?

This is my birthday month so, I plan on trying my 1956 (second quarter) Gillette SS Flare with a Feather blade. It is as old as me! I was made in 1956 too! My day is the 15th. I will be 66!

    Ikon B1 OSS head.
    Weber Bulldog handle.
    Feather blade (2).
    Yaqi synthetic brush.
    Soap Commander Fortitude shave soap.
    Yaqi ceramic shave bowl.
    Cremo Bourbon and Oak EdT.

Another smooth three pass shave with the OSS. First with the open comb side and the last two with the solid bar. This head really is smooth and has moved to the top tier shelf in the den real quick.

    Happy humpday everyone!
  18. My sweetie says I sound young on the phone. I refuse to get old but, my body doesn't agree! LOL
This is from 2014. I still ride my Harley!
