  1. Hi Jeff! I believe we might have talked here a few years back, but I might be wrong. Nice to meet you though!

I just got my slant the other day and I enjoy it a lot. It might be my new favorite razor actually. With a sharp blade it slices whiskers off very efficiently, but it still doesn't feel aggressive.

  3. Thanks, Daniel! We probably did talk a few years ago! This old memory of mine isn’t what it used to be! I used to enjoy the RazoRock Wunderbar slant, but as time has passed have been mostly focusing on my SE’s. And recently have really been enjoying the shaves with my Speed Shavers and original Speed Razor. Enjoy your day!

  5. :signs001: Jeff....First and foremost it's a pleasure to see your back in action my Yankee Doodle Dandy friend.;)

How did the maiden shave go with the Supply V2?. A fragment from my maiden shave with the Supply V2.

Like the Schick G type i found it easy to find the angle and after the first few strokes it felt comfortable shaving with the razor. The Personna PTFE blade paired together wonderfully making a smooth efficient duo.
As i have never shaven with a fully stainless steel razor before i wasn't sure what to expect...The build & quality standard of the Supply is the best razor i have purchased to date...The weight is much heavier than the Schick G type injector which is something i like in a razor. However it's not quite as easy to manoeuvre as the Schick injector but i have adjusted to it's extra weight. The handle doesn't feel slippery, despite being smooth it feels grippy and good to hold and make's the razor feel well balanced, and the added bonus i like about the supply razor is you can disassemble to clean it, and you don't need a injector key to change the blade like you do with most other injector razors.

I started off with the classic (**) base plate to familiarise myself with the razor ,which for me has a nice balance of efficiency & smoothness.....I will try out the other plates in future shaves, but for now the classic plate feels good... Like the Schick G type i found it easy to find the angle and after the first few strokes i felt comfortable shaving with the razor. Every thing you told me about the Supply model V2 is so true. This along with my other Injectors are now officially 'Barry the green tea drinking limey favourite head shaving tools'...What more can i add, apart from the Supply V2 is now one of my favourite razors, as are my other injector razors. Thanks to your goodself introducing me to the wonderful world of SE injector razors.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and have a great safe coming week. My best wishes to you & your good lady.

    Yours- Barry.:happy088:

  6. My Fatip Lo Storto Open Comb Slant Bar Chrome Safety Razor will be here tomorrow so, I may hold off shaving until it comes. I really don't need to shave every day but, I love the routine and it is enjoyable. It will be hard to hold off for 2 days! My mail comes later in the day here. Especially on Mondays.

  7. Thanks, Barry, for that fragment! The Supply is just an excellent shaver! I’ve really enjoyed shaving with Enders Speed Shavers lately. They take an injector blade and really perform well! But I agree with you that the Supply razors are just incredible shavers.
  8. Congratulations, Hogie! Joseph (@Primotenore) is an old hand with that particular razor, and as far as I know enjoys shaving with it! I’ll look forward to your review!
  9. Thank you Joe....CN can be sneaky indeed.
  10. A better shave today than yesterday. First, I tried something new-a different swirling direction with the brush. I went left to right. I think I should add the L-R motion to my shave "habits". I am a southpaw after all. But in shave terms it could get me a better lather. Anyway, another day of excellence at the cheeks and sideburns, and at Porcupine Alley, too. Jawline went well, all across. When I got to the part of Cactus Nation that I flubbed yesterday, I focused on making sure to get ALL if that part, and I did. It's tough when you get close to the Adams Apple, and I did shave around there, but maybe not as well as in previous shaves. That's OK though. No Cuts, Knicks, or Polka Dots. 2 passes, as usual (with shave soaps, that is). Super Duper Excellent.
  11. thank you Joe.:):eatdrink047:
  12. thank you Jeff.:):eatdrink047:
  13. Thanks for the like Gary.
  14. great shave Paul.
  15. Better than yesterday, but not the top grade. Thank you Gary; :). It's always nice to get the triple-NO on cuts, Knicka, and Polka-Dots.
  16. Nice shave, Paul!
  17. Thank you Jeff....good to see you again :).
  18. Nice shave Paul! It is good to see you trying new things in your shaves.
  19. Thanks Joe...well, I just suddenly gave this a try. and figured, perhaps I can do better left-to-right.
