  10. Fine shave Joe. I hate it when I think the coast is clear and then the creepers show up.

Shave 25/30. Another uneventful shave, which is a good thing. Close and comfortable. Final shave with this blade, I have one more in the tuck, so I can just about finish this focus without opening another one.

    Have a great day, gents!

The new Supply Pro Adjustable along with the included new Black Seki injector blades delivers a good noggin shave. Set on its maximum, it does deliver a bit more blade feel than their V2 with the three dot plate. Two ATG passes couldn’t be any closer. Was it worth the investment for me? My answer is no! It’s a good shaver, but the new Black Seki blades don’t appear to outshave my regular Schick Proline B-20 injectors. I would advise folk with the V2 Supply that there’s really no need to upgrade, unless the one dot plate is too aggressive. If you don’t have the Supply V2, then it’s definitely worth the investment, particularly if you like adjustables.

My mug shave with the Saito SK3 was “divine” as Barry (@palmolive fox) my limey pal from across the pond is fond of saying about his good shaves! Honing still remains a bit of a challenge for this old geezer after my last health blip, but we are making progress. I’ve let my grandson, Kevin, touch up my non-smiling blades, but needed almost two hours last night - usually takes about 30 minutes - to get the Saito in shape for this shave. Needed some rest periods during the process. In any case, two and a half passes put my mug to rights leaving me delightfully smooth from neck to noggin.

RAZOR: Saito SK3 (Mug), Supply Pro Adjustable (Dome)
    BLADE: Supply Black Seki Injector
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a heavy scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: BG Custom Two Band Badger
    CREAM: Mohle Sea Buckthorn
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a splash of RazoRock Blue Floid Homage AS.

  19. Great shave kit and photo, Hogie! Four passes with the Feather is always about it for me as well. I like the Preshave process a lot, and have found that a great preshave almost always sets the stage for a great shave! Glad you’re enjoying the Fatip slant. I have a Fatip Piccolo I used to enjoy shaving with. Enjoy your shaves!
  20. Great pic! Do you mind if I continue to call you Hogie? Just wondering!
