  1. Jeff, there’s nothing like a Shake Sharp noggin shave! I'm with you my friend! I still prefer a straight shave for my mug, however!

    Shaving recipe for today.

    Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

    Pre:
    Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Chantry Lavender Goat's Milk Bar Soap.
    Brush: Omega 48.
    Mug Lather.
    Lather :Williams Mug Shaving Soap.
    Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D2)
    Razor: Parker 94r.

    Post:
    Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Williams Aqua Velva ASL. (Spanish Version)/L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

    Everything in the shave set up worked together wonderfully.

    A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

    My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine.;)

    RAZOR: Dove Special 5/8 (Mug), Gillette LC (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather DE (Dome)
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a heavy scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: 316L SS Rearden Razor Synth
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Cremo Cooling AS Balm.

  13. That would work! And I agree with you, I haven't used a soap that would not perform well enough by itself. Except regular bar soap, the lather disappeared completely, but my face was still slick enough to get the job done.

    The only reason why I mix soaps and creams occasionally is mixing scents, that can be fun.

    Sometimes I do a thick lather, sometimes a thinner one, but slickness matters the most for me.
