I do not have an information on the Lo Sorto Piccolo. I have on slant, the Merkur 37c which is a solid razor.
I just couldn't appreciate that Deep Blue Sea. I mean, it was all right, but I had higher expectations.
That how it works. I just order their tallow formula soap in the British Empire. Scent: Crisp citrus, exotic oud, golden amber, rich sandalwood and white musk.
I just read the same thing actually. I'll pass on trying the GSB for certain reasons. The Indian made 7o'clock blacks I could try though. But I'll try to hold out for a few months before I'll spend any more money on shaving supplies..
April 17 SOTD Good afternoon! Straight Razor Shave #358 6/8 Ralf Aust Spanish Pt. Semogue Owner's Club Super Badger Brush Proraso Green SS and AS Maggard's Alum Block Dickinson's Witch Hazel Beard Growth: 24 hrs Continuing my bid to finish the Proraso Green SS, I picked my Semogue Badger Brush. I like Proraso because it is a great performer and it is budget friendly. Also, I happy to like the menthol sensation. Did a two pass shave and achieved a BBS result. However, I caught myself just under the right jaw hinge. It was a superficial nick and the styptic pencil cleared it without a trace. I am very comfortable shaving with straights, but sometimes I get too comfortable and that's when I get a little less focused and thus it causes me to have minor blips. Fortunately, my touch is light that I don't seriously injure myself. Anyway, I was happy with my shave. Did my usual postshave routine and ended with the awesome Proraso Green AS. As an aside, I was at the gym today and decided to headshave with Cremo and my G E Jones Shake Sharp Razor. One of the men in the locker room commented that the blade must be sharp in order for me to get to the skin. I explained that old fashioned blades and vintage razors like my Shake Sharp will always give a better shave than a cartridge. I proceeded to tell him that 100 DE blades cost 10 to 15 dollars and will last 2 yrs if you get 5 shaves per blade instead of paying 30 dollars for a 2 month supply of cartridge blades. He said that you cut yourself easily with those razors. I said that it is about technique. Also, I said,"Why do you think they call these safety razors?" I also explained that I shave with straights and his eyes popped wide open in disbelief. The conversation ended with him saying that he is trying Harry's razors. I said as long as your comfortable with it that's fine. I hope one day he gets awakened to traditional wet shaving. Anyway, sorry for the rambling. Enjoy the day.
