I think I missed posting a shave or two, had a busy week. Yesterday's shave - Used a vintage (I don't know, 1910's, 20's, 30's???) L'essor SE razor similar to a Henckels Rapide, GEM SE blade with plastic wedge, Rudy Vey brush, MWF, Floid MV A/S, Stirling Ramblin Man EdT.
I know, I had a two piece Merkur, 34C, and a Ming Shi 2000s. I'm kind of curious about the Progress. Love the look of it. But then there is the Pearl Flexi, which is a brass razor, and apparently the new versions are pretty good.. I don't have any adjustables at the moment.
Ikon B1 Deluxe head. Signature Shaving SSC59 stainless steel handle (bead blasted and painted). Astra SP blade (2). Yaqi silvertip brush. Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite soap (original). Yaqi ceramic shave bowl. Cremo Bourbon and Oak EdT. Fabulous Monday morning shave. I'm really enjoying the Ikon heads. Happy Monday everyone!
My Muhle R89 "Twist" is a 2-piece. Mild razor but nice with a Feather blade. Here it is beside (from left to right) Muhle R89, Parker 87R, & The Muhle R89 "Twist". Good size razor.
Thanks, Gary! It's a good razor. I have a few Slim Twists too, those don't seem to be too popular, but I like them. And they are usually very inexpensive.
