Thanks, Jeff! TOBS can be a bit drying. I use an unscented moisturizer after my AS splash always, no matter what soap I use.

It is Paul! It is very inexpensive and produces a nice, easy, slick lather. If you like the almond/ cherry scent, then I recommend it. However, Cella has the same scent, but stronger and a little more money. Either way, both are excellent soaps.

Jeff....My evaluation on the Feather DE blades is probably slightly vague due to me not having much experience with them..One thing that has came to my attention after reading your post is "Four uses is really stretching it for me with Feathers, and usually toss them after two"..My first two uses with them where outstandingly good, especially the maiden shave, after the second they felt noticeably less efficient and smooth...Also i done a head shave on the maiden shave, which i personally consider equivalent to Two face shaves.."If that makes sense"...So in theory i had six uses from the Feather, which is a lot, especially on my rhino skin type ....Because of the feather's reputation, maybe i was pushing the blade beyond it's capability. .As aways Jeff ,YMMV. My dad visited today, and I asked him if he would like to try a shaving soap. He said yes, so I gave him a puck of Mühle sandalwood. I also did show how to load and lather using my Mühle aloe soap. I hope he likes it!
