The Arko Shave Stick Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Torqued Slant Razor by T. White with a Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I find I like the Feather blade better on subsequent uses than the first use.

When the Shulton Old Spice soap and aftershave were discontinued I was really sad because I really love them but Fernando came up with a perfect substitute. Oh yes, his Vintage Spice has the exact same beautiful scent - the soap is a tallow based diamond, its lather works up so thick, rich, it has great slickness, and the skincare is numero uno. This CutiBase moisturizer is unscented, it’s so soothing, and the Vintage Spice aftershave is witch hazel based so there’s no burning or stinging from it, and the scent is so lovely - a million times nicer than the crummy P&G version of Old Spice which is sold in every pharmacy here. I enjoyed this shave so much and I got mega BBS!

Thursday Shave

Soap: Stirling Naked and Smooth
Brush: restored Ever Ready
Razor: Karve with B plate
Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium
After: Stirling balm, unscented

I haven't used the Karve razor for a long time and the brass wasn't looking great with some big water marks. So I took the razor to the buffing wheel with some Flitz polish and brought back the shine! I like shiny!

Got a great smooth shave with excellent Stirling lather.

Thanks, Jeff! That was my first time using the soap actually. It's a really good performer for not much money!

I have the cream too, but haven't tried it yet.

Razor : Razorock German 37 slant- Mfg 2016> excellent mid range, nicely built slant, blade needs some manual adjustment, 1st razor to get a BBS with, 2 pass shave with some pickups is all that is needed with this slant works well. Very efficient!
Blade : Personna red(4) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Speick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. One of my favorite soaps.
Brush : Yaqi "Deep Stones" 24mm Boss synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis Lavender AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my RR German 37 slant with a Personna Red blade.
