Friday morning: L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Shark day 10 MSC Frosted Bay Rum SS Prep ASB Floid Vigoroso AS Splash Bay rum and menthol - what a marriage made in heaven. Fernando’s Frosted Bay Rum is such a delightful soap - the scent is gorgeous, the tallow formula gives it such magnificent lather, the menthol sensation is heavenly, and the skincare is perfect. Thanks to the Prep I had lots of cooling, moisturizing, and soothing additional care, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave went on icy cold along with its awesome old school barbershop scent that I love so much. White Nacet Stainless CWR Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne The Arko Shave Stick Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Brass TAR Razor by T. White with a Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SE SOTD, Friday, April 22 2022 Razor : Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm- Mfg 2021> excellent tame mid range, great simple design, easy to find the sweet spot angle, top cap might need some minor manual adjustment. Small razor head parts but does it shave nice for me + daily driver for most IMO. Blade : Schick proline P30 50mm, sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity for a AC blade. Soap : Speick, nice mild spicy scent with lavender + excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi 24mm viper boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hairs, nice scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Ach Brito lavanda AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless) Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur 50mm + a Schick proline P30. Thanks Paul. The walks have the added benefit of eating up some of her abundance of energy. She's a mix of Labrador Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier. That's a lot of energy in a small package!
