Quite true, but I’ve never been interested shaving software soap scents. AS and Cologne are a different story!

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Chantry Lavender Goat's Milk Bar Soap.
    Brush: Omega 48 Pro.
    Face Lather.
    Lather: Kent Luxury Shaving Soap.
    Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D3)
    Razor: Merkur 34C.

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Whitewater ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    Greetings,
    Early morning shave.

The Feather Hi Stainless on it's 3rd outing still felt smooth but slightly less efficient than it did in my previous shave...However, this could have been my razor choice. Anyway, the shave was still acceptable with no blood loss or irritation to my ugly mug.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

This is a great setup. Once again a very good shave. A bit of stinging from the AS on a small area on my neck. Too much pressure probably, but no big deal.

The blade still works well! I'll switch back to the Super Speed for the next shave.

    Have a great day, gentlemen!

Morning shave was not as nice this morning. I tried using Captain's Choice "Land Ho" cream and it did not go well. I ended up with slime that dripped off the brush and the razor! Adding water did not help! To the back of the bus for this cream! Marbles are the theme as I lost mine this morning over the cream!

Proraso pre-shave cream after a warm water face washing with Ivory soap and wash cloth. Ran hot water over cloth to get it hot and held on face for 30 seconds and then applied the pre-shave. Razor was my Parker 87R with a Treet "Carbon Steel" blade (2). I will try to get one more shave from this blade. Very nice! Finished with Captain's Choice "Land Ho" balm.

Close 3-pass shave with a little cleanup. No cuts, nicks, or burn from the alum bar. I have gotten pretty good at removing all stubble. Except for my mustache area around my mouth. I have stopped trying to get so close and cut myself. THIS is my problem area. My jawline is smooth now after a shave. ME LIKE! I continue to improve!

Of course I had some help too! DSCN5730.JPG DSCN5732.JPG

Very good shave this morning. I wasn't sure how much of tue Sir Hare soap I'd get, as it is getting low, but once again the Clubman brush acted like a soap magnet and got a great amount. Once on my face and neck, I had to prove the "technique trumps tools" persuasion that many of us write here.. I proved it with flying colors by succeeding to avoid Cuts, Knicks, and Polka-dots, and going back to redo whatever misses I had, specifically the right side of North Porcupine and the jawline bordering Porcupine Alley and Cactus Nation. With that right N.Porcupine area, I focus a lot on the left side, thus tend to do too little on the right. 2 passes. The Stoylin Unscented was a good aftershave choice for the Sir Hare Alpha-you may recall I flipped the Stoylin Gentleman, as the combination of that with the Sir Hare Alpha lit my face on fire. Don't worry, Doc Ezlovan, I will be buying more from your company. The 2022 Tony Awards are back, of course :). Anyway....for this shave, let's give it s Super Duper Excellent.

Looks like you have a Sir Hare soap or two on the top right.

I have only one Sir Hare. I have collected many soaps and I use all of them. Almost too many choices to select from! LOL
I like the soft soaps and the TOBS creams the best. Altho, the Col Conk Bay Rum is another fav hard soap.

I have some of the Wool Fat soap on it's way. I keep hearing good things. I hope my hard water doesn't stop it from lathering well. I ordered it in the ceramic bowl. Bowl & Lid look classic!

Awesome Merkur shave, Barry! I’m sure you’re aware that Kent is repackaged MWF. That’s my regular shaving soap. Glad the shave was ‘divine’, my friend, but then again, how could it not be given the superb shave kit! Enjoy your day!
