Fabulous Stirling Bergamot Lavender shaver this morning. It pairs nicely with the Chatillon Lux Pure Lavender. I have been tempted to get the matching splash but I really do not think there will be a significant difference in scent. Perhaps I will pick up a sample splash in my next Stirling order in a few week. The order will not include any shave soaps as I am well stocked with a variety of brands.

The C V Heljestrand delivered a beautifully comfortable and smooth shave . The lather was slick and smelled fantastic. Talk about a relaxing shave. Ah the MOLC life.

I hope you have a great day gentlemen.
  3. Wonderful Arko shave with a citrus chaser Gary. Hope you are having a great day.
  4. thank you Joe.:):eatdrink047:
  5. awesome shave and pic Joe..

    thank you Joe..love the limes..:):eatdrink047:
  6. I bloom all of my hard soaps. Is this the wrong thing to do? It sure made for some of the best lather ever! The puck is already stuck on the bottom after this first use. My Capt Conk "Bay Rum" I put into my wood bowl and nuked in microwave for 20 seconds. I know you can't do this with all soaps. Some will burn.
  7. Great straight shave Joe. You just can't go wrong with a Stirling soap.
  8. I don't always bloom my soaps, but I never had a problem with doing it. I keep the puck slightly askewed and upside on top of the container so that it air dries with gravity removing the remaining moisture. I leave it alone for about 24 hrs and then screw the lid in place until I use it again.
  9. Lovely green themed photo and shave kit!
  10. Great shave kit, Joe! There’s nothing like MOLC, as I sit here an Old Pulteney 12 Yr. Old single malt in hand awaiting my three friends to give them the chance to win back what I took from them last night! Enjoy the lifestyle!
  11. thank you Jeff..love the green..;):eatdrink047:
  12. . MWF is triple milled and will crack with continued blooming. Don’t used the microwave on MWF, IT WILL SEPARATE. You can always grate it and press it back into the ceramic tub. Then you can bloom it if that’s what works for you.
  13. as an edit to my posted shave,i will say-between my red tip, regular superspeed and the earlier design rocket i used today, the smoothest/most efficient was the regular superspeed.i guess my whisker type works with mild moderate razors including the techs, which are just 3 piece/non tto versions of said razor technology and blade exposure.now if i shaved once a week instead of daily the red tip would be more beneficial.some folks need/like a red tip or more due to heavy beard type or wire course whiskers.i am not in that category..cheers..:):eatdrink047:
  14. Fine shaves, gentlemen!
  15. thank you Daniel.:):eatdrink047:
  16. Thank you Jeff :). Two more with this "team"(until next time, of course.). I'm thinking of flipping in a couple Stoylin Frost Drops to cool it down for use this summer.

  17. Ahhh, I'll try it sometime, but manual(finger)dexterity has been an issue with me.
  18. I don't trust a "shave soap/microwave" persuasion.
