I guess I should get some updated pics of the rest of my stash. Here's the brushes for now (minus the Shavemaster).
Thanks for the info, that's the opposite of what I expected. I always thought the synthetics would be "floppy" for some reason.
I think one of the reasons they feel stiffer is they tend not to hold as much water as a "Hair" brush. If you make lather by a water/cream ratio you will find you need more water. I always make mine more by the feel and look of it, so that doesn't bother me so much.
This is a brush I was considering, mostly because of the low price, do you think it would be worth it?
Omega is a very good brush and they make an entry level Badger for about 30 to 35 dollars. The brush on your link might be O.K. for travel but at only 3 3/4 inches, I would think it would be hard to use every day. That is only me of course, ( just a note, I'm 6'6 and wear a size 16 ring, so I have BIG hands) and might not be a problem for you.
Thanks for the advice, I didn't notice it was that small so I think I'll pass. I too am 6'6" tall though I only wear a size 12 ring. My hands are bigger than average and short/small brushes hard to handle as you obviously know. Sorry I was so long getting back to this thread but I've been sort of busy this week. Thanks again for the advice.
A bump-a-roo to show off my newer, larger cabinet. Got it on clearance sale at Target and saved a bunch of money! Compare it to my first cabinet and you'll see the improvements. (You can see a little bit of the cabinet I used to have to the right of this new one to see the difference. That one is the wife's and she was none to pleased to see my little "upgrade" <shrug> Take me as I am baby!) Anybody else want to contribute to this old thread? Let's see those pics.
+1 for the shaving porn Thanks guys Makes my shaving area seem kinda runty (by Kinda i mean a lot) :signs154
I wish I could find a nice cabinet like this. At the moment I am using half a bookshelf and a shoe box -- I'm broke through spending all my cash on Straights. It would have made more sense if I had found somewhere to put them first,
So I moved to a new house, 3x the size 3x the bathroom space and I still put my stuff under the sink....
