What do you think of the PAA brush, I really like the look of it just curious how it performs? My main brush is a Parker I bout about 10yrs ago and I'm looking to get something new.

    King Cobra
    Feather Professional
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Iced Blue

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #433 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the King Cobra Razor with a Feather Professional Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Wednesday morning’s Grand Freeze:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Junjie/Shark day 8
    MSC Frosted Lavender SS
    Prep ASB
    MSC Frosted Lavender AS Splash

My face is so frozen from this setup that it’ll probably need all day to thaw out - my brother Fernando makes some of the BEST soaps and aftershaves I’ve used in my entire life. His Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave have such a gorgeous lavender scent, the soap’s tallow formula gives it such awesome lather that’s so thick, rich, mega slick and protective, the menthol power is easily a match for the Stirling Glacials, and the skincare is absolutely perfect. The Prep and the Frosted Lavender aftershave treated me with so much love. This Shark blade is still performing superbly - it helped me get another three pass BBS shave that was so enjoyable!

Have a good day - be well and safe and enjoy your shaves!

I like the PAA Green Ray brush.

The knot is soft and dense with plenty of loft, and it is fan shaped, which is perfect for face lathering in my opinion. There is no glue bump, but the density provides sufficient backbone so that it is not floppy. It is a 24mm knot, but it feels bigger. It really is an excellent synthetic knot! I wish I could get this knot by itself for some of my brush restoration projects, but PAA doesn't sell it except as a complete brush.

    Late night shave:
Valet auto strop w/ lab tech blade (bought a 200 pack several years ago and I can't remember the exact brand)
    Clubman aftershave
And as always, Parker brush and homemade soap.

Collecting brushes and soap never really appealed to me, I find what I like and stick with it. But razors on the other hand....I have a wide assortment. 16517291515054733372908786521494.jpg
