You have tamed "The Beast"! I too find it mild now. If I want my most aggressive razor (aside from an open edge) I reach for my Adjustables and use WIDE OPEN! Preferably, my Gillette Slim. I have not seen anything wrong with your backgrounds. I am lucky I have a new bathroom to use!
I know you like to be called Daniel, but my auto spelling sometimes makes mistake and I didn't check before I posted.
You could potentially like the Game Changer .84 JAWS if you find the R41 mild! It would probably pair well with a Shark blade. Though you have your open blades to keep you busy! Slim is a beautiful razor! I had a Ming Shi 2000s and used it always wide open. That thing had a massive blade gap! It's a Merkur Futur clone. Very cheap too, at least it used to be. I use an old army blanket as a background for my photos! I bought three of these from Varusteleka when they had cheap ones. Good quality too. Not the best looking backgrounds for photography though, at least in my opinion!
It looks like the USPS has lost my package from Shave Nation.....no Flatboy razor for me....and my Bay Rum soaps! But, the Feather DX will be here tomorrow via UPS.
That's cool! My first name is Daniel, and middle name is Anton, but I just never use my middle name for anything.
USPS sounds like it sucks. Fun fact, down the street here someone has a Grumman LLV. I did not expect to see one of those here!
I guess he could have gotten that shave much closer, because I'm over 4000 miles away from the US! Over here the postal service uses usually VW vans and larger trucks, usually Mercs. Or something awful like this. That's a Ford.
Well, a confirmation name is not legal. It is a name you take at a confirmation ceremony of the Roman Catholic Church. Confirmants pick a saint's name that they admire or feel a special connection to them. I went into a little detail on this subject because you probably aren't Catholic and wouldn't be aware of this religious tradition.
Thank you for the information! I learned something new. I'm a Christian, but not a Catholic. Religions can be very interesting.
I think my mom was catholic. My dad was baptist and that is what church I was sent to. I wonder how did they get together?????Two different worlds really. My ex dragged me to a few catholic ceremonies (Hail Mary's)
Love is a beautiful thing and it helps people to go beyond their differences. Ok. I think we talked enough about music and religious traditions. Let's get back to shaving topics.
I learned a lot about 2 different religions while married to her. She was non-denomination so, it was a shock! Her aunt/uncle were practicing Jews. How do you keep the tiny topper on yer head? Hadta wear at barmitsfa
I am starting to feel the stubble so, maybe I will get to shave tomorrow! I didn't think I would after the close shave today. Now, to decide which razor to use.....
I understand that side too, various reasons can be behind it etc. Alright, enough OT. But might as well continue about shaving related things in the same message. I might order a new shaving soap soon, and I'm thinking about going with a RazoRock soap. Santa Maria Del Fiore is interesting.. But I'm also curious about Cella Bio. The regular one wouldn't be my cup of tea because of the almond scent, but I've heard good things about the Bio version. Or maybe I should just hoard 10 sticks of La Toja.
