  1. Congrats, Joe! You bought one of Andrey’s Gipson Kamisori! He builds a fine razor, and his Kamisoris are western symmetrical grind. So no need for hone gymnastics like with a traditional asymmetrical Kamisori! Glad the shave went well! Enjoy your day!
  2. You're in two razor clubs I see.

  4. I've looked at escooters, and they seem like fun. Here you can pretty much use an app and rent one of those, I think, and they are popular. But of course I don't live close to the places where you can get them.
But seriously I should just restore my dad's old Peugeot bicycle that he brought back from Lebanon in the late 80's when he was a peacekeeper. But I've been putting it off and been "lazy", while walking everywhere, wasting more energy. :D

Not exactly cheap stuff that Macallan!
    That will teach him. ;)
  5. Excellent shave, Danny!

  8. Jeff, there are no leafed out trees here yet. The daffodils are still blooming. I may have to start mowing in a week or 2. The grass is just starting to green up! I tell everybody that I live in "The Great White North"

  9. Here in the UK we don't really have "Seasons of Weather"any more, it's more like 'Periods of Weather'..A general rule of thumb living on the North-east coast we are always 5-6 weeks behind weather wise..So we get 'April Showers' in May, with daffodils & tulips still blooming. Due to this happening, i assume this has a detrimental effect, especially for farming.

i almost used my simpson badger but this brush is fantastic due to it's size.just a pillow of soft.
this razor is england's last open comb gillette last available in the mid 1940s,most likely pre war leftovers,
also the last 2 piece produced originating from the original single ring old type.
the u.s had stopped producing this type of handle in the late 1920s.
have a great rest of the day gents.

  18. Excellent shave, Gary!
