  2. The need to “even your total” truly establishes you as our one and only ‘El Numeroso’! Enjoy your day, my friend!

  3. I’ve never had a problem with flatblading! It was. The diagonal slicing stroke that I found difficult! Oh well differen strokes! ;):duel:

  4. Actually, the Tedalus can accommodate half DE, standard injector, and AC injectors.

  6. Your enthusiasm is great, Gary! I feel the same way about DX shaves!

  7. Spot on, Gary! You’ll note that the “steak knife” guard is designed to prevent horizontal slices! Bill Morgan who used to belong to this forum swears by Proguard blades. They are his blade of choice in his DX. As I said previously, I'm not a fan. My preference is the Feather Super or the Feather Pro in that order.

  10. If I had better editing software, I would put a blade in his paws! LOL
But, I am a musician so, it kinda fits. Altho, I don't play harmonica!

  11. Excellent shave this morning. Just how excellent will be determined at a later time-that is, at the end of this post. Great job of painting the soap onto my face and neck, which followed nice loading work onto the Stoylin No-Name brush. This offering from Tallow&Steel is my most under-rated soap. So much that I might keep it out for a 3rd day. Very smooth along the cheeks&sideburns. About as good as can be along North and South Porcupine. Ditto the jawline. I tried different patterns down at Cactus which included careful work on and around the Adam's Apple. No Cuts and Knicks, but a couple Polka-Dots, also around the Adam's Apple. 2 passes. Finished with Yardley A.S. and Pierre Cardin cologne. I am very happy in general. Super Duper Excellent.

  14. I am getting fewer polka dots unless I grab the DX. I am getting better with that too tho. Gimme time....I have only shaved with it twice now. Gave it a rest today tho.
    Great shave, Paul!

  16. Thanks @Hogie, and what a great avatar! Those animals are quite popular in Colorado. Course they consume snacks, not instruments :)

    very nice shave Daniel.
  18. This weather sucks Jeff. However, you countered with a great shave. I see a bunch of use have busted out the AV Spanish version for today’s shave. Good stuff.

  19. Well, I couldn't quite achieve the "evenly distributed" persuasion-too much tallow. Same thing happened when I first opened up the Stoylin Barbershop. I had to CALL Doc Ezlovan for his reassurance that it looks fine and ready to shave.

  20. When I lived in Minnesota, I had to fight the Pocket Gophers. Trap had to be put at the opening of the hole and staked down or they drag it into the hole! Destructive little buggers to the yard!
