Sunday Schick shave, May 8th, 2022

Razor : Schick injector E2 type, Canadian Variant- Mfg 1930's-40's NDC, nice design, easy to remove and install blades, light weight, light pressure will reward myself with excellent shaves.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE(9) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Tabac, nice mild flowery scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm black marble handle silvertip, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips,
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick E2 Canadian variant with a coated Personna blade.

Excellent American Steel. This one holds a super fine edge, that lasts. I had a great 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues.

Good morning! It's been a while since I posted. My shaves don't change much, but I miss the conversations on here. If you haven't tried the Planet Kind, I recommend it. It's easily available (Target), affordable ($8), face lathers quite well, and provides a great shave. It has a slight cucumber scent, but it doesn't last.

The TSD Iced Lime Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #432 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick M Adjustable Razor with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Notice that there are no labels or graphics on the soap tub or aftershave bottle because they’re not on the market - they were custom made for me but I honestly think that they would be top sellers for anyone who loves intense menthol like I do. They both have the identical beautiful wintergreen scent as the Stirling Glacial Wintergreen, the soap is also tallow based, the lather is also exactly the same rich, creamy, super slick type, the menthol sensation is so potent that it passes the Glacial Wintergreen, and the skincare is so brilliant. The Prep provided so much moisturizing with lots of soothing, and the Wintergreen aftershave is witch hazel based, it has the same gorgeous scent as the soaps from Fernando and Rod, not to mention it’s the coldest aftershave on Planet Earth - yes, even colder than B&M Arctique. My new Wilkinson Sword blade helped me get a perfect three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

I'm just glad they remain popular enough to be sold at drugstores&supermarkets, rather than having to order on line.

 

I wish that would be the case here (finland). I haven't seen Skin Bracer for sale anywhere in a year or two. I'm not even sure if the euro version is still being made, or did they just stop selling it here.
