Thank you sir. All quality 14s - 7/8 razors in good condition are usually not cheap. However, a Filarmonica 14 is no more expensive (with a couple of exceptions) than wide razors from other countries. This one was was less than many Wade and Butcher FBUs go for, and was about the same as a German Dorko or Bartmann in similar condition.
Excellent American Steel. This one holds a super fine edge, that lasts. I had a great 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues. Razor- Genco "Easy Aces". Pennsylvania Brush- Vie-Long. Horse Hair knot Soap- Stirling Spicy Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy

It is a above ground pool, to much work and cost to dig and almost impossible at the location where the pool is placed. The place will by up from the black roof where we had a sun deck. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk

SOTD MONDAY MORNING, MAY 9, 2022 Now that is one purty Genco, Scott! I have a 35! Glen put me on to them a few yrs ago! The steel can an incredibly sharp edge, what he has referred to recently as “stupid sharp”. I’m content with the edge I have on it!
Beautiful razor, Tom! Sergej appears to have dropped out of sight. I’ve sent several emails with no response. Is he still making razors?
Thanks. I have quite a few. They all take a "Wickedly Sharp Edge". For what it is worth, I would put several vintage American made razors, against the best vintage European Razors, and probably choose the American ones, for quality of steel. But, many European ones do have beautiful blade shapes, and very ornate scales, which are a plus for some. Me, give me a 6/8 Rat Razor, in American Steel, or Japanese made one with Swedish Steel. .
Thank you Jeff. It seems like his blades are still selling on the Bay, so I had assumed he was still active.
Completion date not set yet, but hopefully end of June. Of course we could have a TSD party , long way for most of you though. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
