  1. Terrific shave Danny. Balzano's are sharp, but they are expensive.
  2. Where there is a will, there is a way, Daniel.
  3. Great shave, Danny! While not a fan of any of the Gillette TTO’s, I really enjoy shaving with any of their “New” second generation razors. Enjoy your shaves, my friend!

  4. Well, I just ordered an R89, mainly to use as my travel razor. But of course I'll have to try it a few times as soon as it arrives. ;)

I also bought an inexpensive small canvas bag for the razor which has room for a tuck of blades, and a cheap travel case thingy for a brush. I think those paired with a shave stick or a tube of cream would be a decent setup for travel.

I'll just have to figure out a small bottle for my aftershave, but I have a shot sized bottle of Finlandia in my fridge, maybe that would do.
  5. Awesome shave, Danny!
  6. True!
  7. I thought it was too, until I saw the Shop tab on the site bar and tried it. Apparently, it reopened at the start of this year. And M-Bomb is one of the items it does sell.

I will have to buy some of her lanolin shaving soaps and "milk" aftershave balms again. Good stuff that I missed when she closed. Some of the artisan makers try for incredibly complex scents, which are wasted on my nose. I liked the TSD Shop's simple bay rum, sandalwood and lavendar scents.

  8. Don't forget to bring a compact mirror for your camping trips.

  9. That's a source that would never have occurred to me! I may have to see what is available in the vape shops here in my Canadian city. Menthol drops are menthol drops...

  10. I have enough soap to last me for a few years. I guess that's true for most of us. Lol! The TSD soaps are inexpensive and that's a plus in this economy. I still like Stirling soaps. They are a great value and I happen to like most of their scents.

  11. Thanks! That is very important indeed, unless I'm visiting relatives or something like that.

In a pinch, I could use my phone's front camera, but that would't be ideal. Once I shaved using my friend's cars side view mirror!
  12. You don't want to accidently drop your phone in the lake.
  13. True. I have used a cup or something to rinse my razor previously, to avoid that. But some sort of small collapsible bowl could maybe be a better alternative.
