Farewell Proraso White! 65 shaves done! The first few months of the challenge I was definitely under loading. I'm finding that I'm enjoying the shaves with Proraso when I load more soap. As a daily shaver a tub of this great stuff would last me a little over two months.

I also noticed that Proraso soap works best when loaded heavy as well.

Glad you mentioned this. When I first started using it. I wasn't loading enough soap and was about to give up on it. But I figured I'll load my brush with a bit more soap and see if it would make any difference. It did and I have been doing that ever since.

Congrats on finishing off another tub.

I hope I can do that soon...but it would be my FIRST tub ever finished. In the past, I'd just flip tubs that were close to finishing.

Thank you very much! I'm noticing the same with the green as well. I just reached the 60th shave with that one. I suspect that one has ten or less good one left in it.

Congrats on finishing them all up.

But I'll miss seeing your update here.

What would be your order of preference of those 4?

What soaps will be in your rotation. Now that these are gone?

Thank you very much for following! I really appreciate that!

Here is how I rank them in order of preference:

    Scent:
    1) Red
    2) Green
    3) White
    4) Blue

Red is hands down my favorite scent. I just love it! At the opposite end of the spectrum is Blue. I know a lot of people like the scent, I don't care for it. That said I do prefer the cream over the tubs. I find the cream much slicker and I really enjoyed how the cream made my skin feel. Summing that up: Tubs are good, tubes are better.

Proraso will always have a place in my shaving rotation so in terms of overall preference my final ranking:

    1)Red
    2) White
    3) Green
    4) Blue

I just purchase a tube of Red and I suspect it will be a regular in my rotation later this year. I find that one super appealing in the fall. If I add one more then white would be my next choice.

I have two products in my rotation at the moment:
    Creams: TOBS.
I received a sample of TOBS Tobacco Leaf several months ago. A few weeks back I decided to try it and I was blown away with the slickness. I've since purchased three: Tobacco Leaf, Peppermint, and Coconut. They all smell great too!

    Soaps: Southern Witchcrafts
I love their soaps. They all produce fantastic lather and they create incredible scent profiles. I have two full size pucks: Druantia and Samhain. In addition I purchased all their samplers and while I prefer some I can say that they're all winners. If I had to pick one then it's definitely Samhain. Like Proraso Red, Samhain lends itself to autumn quite nicely.

    What are your favorites?

I like variety and have 11 soaps/creams in my current rotation.

Of those I reach for Proraso red\green, SV, CBL Arko, Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations & Razorock what the Puck the most.

A Proraso single edge challenge would be cool to see on this forum. If someone wanted to do it.

Just finished a shave with Proraso green soap a couple of hours ago.

Glad that the weather is warning up a little bit. It will be getting more use over the next 3 month's.
