  1. Same for me. Some patches still feel a little rough to the touch after just one pass. The second pass across the grain smooths them all.

    SE Shave # 256

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Enders Speed
    Blade: Schick Pro-line B-20
    Brush: Jack Skully
Lather: Santa Fe Soap Ranch Redwood Vetiver (In Mug)
    Aftershave: Brut
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Today was the inaugural shave with the Enders Speed razor. I was able to pick up the blade adapter from Hendrix Shave Co. I took one pass to figure out the angle for a close and comfortable shave. The following two pass lead to shave Nirvana. Tomorrow will be a repeat shave with hopefully similar results.

Today’s soap, a Santa Fe Soap Ranch formulation, has always delivered a nice slick lather. I came across this company at a farmer’s market in Santa Fe 8 years ago. This is my second soap from them. I have not used it as often as I should but I does last for a very long time.

On a side note, the Southern Villa survived the first tropical storm of the season.

Hope you have a great day gentlemen.
  6. Great shave Joe. I guess you can say it's the end. That's a 50's phrase saying it really is cool.

  7. For me, it's the ATG shave that really knocks them down! So, I can get by with a 2-pass much of the time. If I do a 3-pass, it's purely for the pleasure of shaving. :D
  8. I got the new Fatip "Grande" today. Nice! I have it loaded with a Gillette "Silver Blue" (1) for tomorrow! Also a new AS. Clubman Pinaud "Whiskey Woods"
The razor has nice heft to it. It's heavier than the Fatip Slant. I will also use the brush that I rescued. Still have to decide the shave soap....Maybe the MWF

  9. Congrats on a beautiful razor Hogie! I am a Pinaud Clubman guy, but I don't want to smell like booze. Lol!

  13. Hi Joe. I hope all is well.

What else is new? @jgreenepa is disparaging Tabac again. I think he's simply overdosed on MWF, and it has stunted his growth. :D
