No way! You can go back even now to do your second pass. We all have moments of klutziness, just as Hogie, @Hogie, with his destruction of his ceramic jar of the MWF. After be annoyed at himself he just ordered another jar. Feeling free to go back into the bathroom, lather up another load on the brush and have at the second pass. I guarantee it will change your mood. just asking: Why did you throw out the razor. It was not the razors fault. Stuff happens.
I was SO pissed at myself for dropping that jar! I really like the ceramic jar MWF comes in! I will not do the loading with the new on e the same way. I am NOT breaking another one!
I guess that feeling angry as I did, I just decided to quit the shave, thinking that would calm me down better. No, I know it wasn't the razor's fault, but I thought that was too many passes for that razor (I used it yesterday)-time to begin anew with anew one(get it? lol) I didn't know about Hogie's jar situation. I'd have just brought up another shavesoap.
@Hogie, did you send me that "like" at the same time I added to my post, talkinabout you and your disappointing jar drop?
It is nice to have several options for the shaving razor. I have so many that I like using now, it's hard to decide which one to use! This week is laid out tho. Tomorrow is a shave with another pleasant shaver, my 1912 Star. Thursday & Friday I will devote to taming the Featherweight GEM that bit me last time I tried it!
No, I was answering Joe's comment about me dropping the jar. I love the MWF so, I hadta get more! Since I broke the first jar, I took the puck and broke it up into my mug. The lid fits nice on that mug!
I've dropped jars into a sink full of water a few times. I'm the Vice-President of Bloomers Across America(or whatever it is we call ourselves). As VEEP of that fine organization, I can definitely say no more blooming was needed for THAT soap during THAT shave.
I bloom all my hard soaps. I am starting to prefer the hard soaps over the creams. Especially the MWF. But, the Lavender creams are nice too. Just back off on the water in the brush to whip the stuff!
The jar shattered and left the puck stuck to the bottom piece. I had to pry it off and got a nasty cut from the shards. It would not drop into the mug so, I broke it into pieces. It has re-formed to the mug now. This soap lasts! The mug is one my sweetie got for me at Ocean City. "Legend of the Sand Dollar" Nice mug!
Yes, if I use the hard soaps, I leave brush full of water. The creams need less water or you have to paint soup onto yer face! LOL
