Well if you stumbled onto my B-20 blade post you might remember I said I needed to stock up on my GEM blades.
Well they finally got here.
And I paid just a smidgen more than I did a few years ago. Only pennies more, so I'm not to broken up about it.



Add these to the ones I already have and I'm good till ...



Well I can shave with my GEM razors for a while, now.
I hear the retired folks comment
They don't have the money after retirement to buy many blades.
That's terrifying I tell ya!
Well, so.... let's call this part of my retirement plan.

If I last the 6, 7 or 8... years till then.

Got these in today. The whole for a cheap price. these are probably one of the most overlooked safety razors out there. They look cheap and they are but they are in my top 5 out all my razors.

Dropped about $5k on this lot that showed up moments ago... seller wouldn't break up the collection, but what I'll say is there's a bottom dial in these boxes (or there better be!). The rest will be re-homed, hopefully sooner than later so as to not lose my wife's trust

On "The Green Monster" at Fenway Park, there was a huge sign-all I could make out was GEM. Maybe it said: The Red Sox use GEM razors This was back in 1946.

That's really good to hear. I have two of those which were part of a lot I purchased long ago, but I just kind of forgot about them. I better dig one out and use it.

There you have it . Back in college, a friend had Lifebouy soap. I always wanted to try it, but recently they cut out the "deodorant" persuasion. They also cut that out of Lever, which I'd used for many years and liked. No deodorant? Thing may as well be shave soap.

Found a sealed bar of Aramis bath soap in a smoky clear plastic box, $2.
