Stopped by an antique store and a booth had a few razors but i picked these 2 up. Apparently the cheapy travel case and blade bank added $32 in value.. lol same seller one fatboy @$7 and the other at $39. Well i got them both and 20% off. Not bad.

Macys ? ( never heard of the brush brand )

The culmak is in really nice shape and hasnt lost a single hair while i cleaned , washed and test lathered
The macys brush lost lots of hair.

You cant quite see it here buy the center is higher and the outside perimeter is lower.
I believe this brush is a hybrid of badger and boar as the center hairs seem stiff and prickly.

I am a bit slow to show off my new Gillette Tech Slant from @twhite. I will be using it this week. I did a second pass last week with it, and I am looking to doing full shaves with it this week.

Kind of looks like a Simpson. My BAC3 is made by Simpson for B. Altman Company, a high end store from NYC that's not around any more.

very cool.boy does that brush look similar to the simpson commodore..

Thanks Gary, it has flatter sides than the Simpson.

Chiseled Face Midnight Stag ................. a little too much scent of sitting in the smoke of a camp fire and not enough leather, but it does dry down to a decent scent.
