LOL. Certainly you don't think I'd be saying that if I was away from TSD for an extended period of time. Oh, you DO, eh?
Wonderful shots! I told you about the time I was hospitalized(just 2 nights 3 days) and just as I was about to go home, a guy walks in with 2 service dogs. I was thinking, "Where were you dogs when I needed you??"
4th of July sale at Hendrix Classics...15% off storewide. Not sure I'll go for it, but I have until midnight. I already have a shave soap on the way(Razorock)and I got a bill from my P.T.sessions.
Wait a minute. People up there did not have the “Not in My Backyard” Syndrome. Nice Italian food with eye candy to boot. Can’t beat that. Sounds like a nice day.

Following a great shave I have spent the afternoon lounging around by the pool with my wife son and daughter. The W &B razor with the Kirinite Patriot scale receives the honor of a 4th of July shave for the 4th year in a row. It provided a super close and comfortable shave with the usual three passes. Do I need three passes? no! I just enjoy the process this the additional pass. I hope you all have an enjoyable holiday gentlemen.
Gorgeous day! I got the whole yard mowed! Now, it's getting dark so, I am waiting for the noise to begin. LOL BOOM!
July 4 SOTN Good evening. Gillette 1968 Gillette Slim (setting 7) Rockwell DE Blade (3?) Hembree Synthetic Brush Stirling Christmas Eve SS and AS Maggard's Alum Block Dickinson's Witch Hazel Beard Growth: 30 hrs I just got home 2 hrs ago and decided to do a shave. I decided since it was a holiday that I would get my Stirling holiday soap Christmas Eve. Hey! Let it be Christmas in July! I believe in using any soap in or out of season. The scent smells like a real Christmas tree. It really is an awesome frag. The soap was bowl lathered and it was really creamy and slick. You can see my little pocket knife that I use to scrape the soap from the container and into the bowl. Here is my lather: Did 2 passes and minor touchups to get a BBS shave without any bloodshed or irritation. The alum gave very little feedback. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave and I am a happy camper. Have a great evening.
I shaved today third time with the same Derby blade in the VDH Stirling Barbershop soap and a synthetic brush. Still not the greatest lather, but it was my first decent shave with a DE maybe an 8.5/10 Only one small nick and pretty smooth shave wirh very little irritation. My neck doesn’t have razor bumps for the first time wirh a DE razor. I was very careful to ride the cap and stay light where my neck is tender and gets bumps. I think it is really helping. While not the best lather, it is still as good as from a can and clearly is doing the trick sufficiently.
Very nice shave and post. The purpose of the lather is to make the razor glide on your skin. Although a Santa Claus beard looks nice, it is not a requirement to get a great shave. Glad you are improving on your DE Shave. Btw, I started traditional.wet shaving with the VDH razor so you are starting on the right track.
