It's not super hot, but I went with the Cryogen shave soap and aftershave today.
I made enough soap for 5 passes today. Lol!
Cryogen loves water so it is a very easy lather to use. It's the first time that I have bowl lathered this soap and I must say it is easier than face lathering because I don't have to to dry load the brush off the puck and then lather my wet face without going back to the puck. Here's my bowl lather shot:
Otherwise, I use more soap than necessary.
Anyway, I performed a 2 passer (WTG and ATG) plus minor touchups without any errors. I had negligible alum feedback. I still feel the effects of the menthol. Lol! Witch hazel and matching aftershave were applied to finish the shave. I feel clean and refreshed. Have a great day!

Ahhh, interesting. The one from The Soap Exchange says all others "imitate" this one. I'll look for the menthol concentration in that one.

Thursday July 7 - sort of patriotic

Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black with SE comb plate / Supply Black Label (11) -- American razor / Japanese blade
Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic -- as English as they come
Soap: MWF -- English and I believe northern English at that (my mother's family came from both sides of the Scottish Border)
Post: Polar Ice Booster -- uhmmm... generic multi-national commercial conglomerate??

Complete repeat of Sunday's shave.

Had a four-day stubble to mow. Two passes got it done.

The blade was still good on its 11th use, but I think I am detecting a little less sharpness now. It isn't tugging or anything though, so I believe it should be good for a few more shaves still. Some reviewers have said the Black Label blades are inferior to other injector blades, but I have no complaints about this one so far.

Excellent start of the day with the X3 Pull workout followed by a phenomenal shave with the recently acquired Genco razor. I believe this is my third shave with said razor. Another extremely close shave followed by a silent alum report save for a minor sensation on the upper lip. My face is once again smooth and velveteen.

I am entertain again this afternoon. However, my food presentation is not of the extravaganza of last week. Nonetheless there will be some good food along with good company. Yes the pool looks very inviting.

Very nice shave with the no longer attainable soap Brian. I have a sample of that soap and a full tub of MLSW Reunion. Good stuff.
