    Wednesday morning’s Grand Freeze:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Canadian Tech/new Wilkinson Sword
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill SS
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill ASB
Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill AS Splash
    Christian Dior Eau Sauvage EdT

Lemony scented icicles in my face this morning - this Glacial Lemon Chill trio is so delightful. The scent is so beautiful, the soap’s tallow formula gives it such fantastic lather, (my Yaqi synthetic works it up beautifully!) it’s so slick, as well as protective, the menthol sensation hits like a sledgehammer, and the skincare is perfect. The matching balm and aftershave were a fabulously frigid finish. The Eau Sauvage fragrance is an old favourite of mine - it’s also got a lovely lemony fragrance that I enjoy very much in the summer. The new Wilkinson Sword blade helped to ensure a perfect three pass BBS shave!

Have a good day - be well and safe!

Today was another very pleasant shave with my Gillette 1956 Redtip. This razor made the Feather blade feel mild.I decided to hold off on my shower until late afternoon when it cools down some. I am wanting to ride the bike today and head to the italian restaurant. Back is still sore but, I rode last night before dark to go to China Buffet and it was very nice ride.

Razor - 1956 Gillette Redtip with Feather blade (3rd use)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Pre-shave - Proraso Blue
Post shave - Thayers and a dab of Proraso balm

Pre-heated the lather bowl & brush with HOT water and also bloomed the soap. Washed face and did the HOT washcloth treatment before applying pre-shave and whipping the MWF to a nice cream. WTG, ATG, and XTG for a very close shave. I could have stoped at 2 passes and done cleanup but, it was so nice I went for a 3-pass. Alum bar raised no feedback. No cuts, nicks, or errors today! :)

Razor : Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72, Mfg 2021> excellent mid range, very good QC for machining and finish of 316 stainless steel, reasonably affordable to most folks. Great clamping of blade design and easy to work around the nose area. A joy to use!
Blade : Personna Red (5) sharp & smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice masculine lavender scent with excellent lather qualities. (Discontinued[IMG])
Brush : Yaqi purple haze 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Personna red blade.

    Hi Friends,

Here is my Wednesday Shave (20.07.2022)

    8CDDB21B-6275-4DB7-9D1F-58238F34F11D.jpeg
Razor: Feather AS D2 // Blade: Gillette 7 o ´clock yellow // Soap: Calani Oriental Plum // Brush: Mühle Synthetic // Aftershave: Aloe Vera Gel

Oh maaaaan…what can i say? The razor is definitely a class of it´s own. It is such a wonderful, outstanding razor.

2 passes with a new Gillette 7 o ´clock yellow. Good performer, but the Gillette Wilkinson India has performed better. Sharper, smoother…not that i would say that this blade with this razor is a bad combo, no, it has not been just any good as with the Indian Gillette Wilkinson.

After 2 passes i was nearly BBS, could have done a third pass, but i just did minor touch ups.

At the end i used pure Aloe Vera Gel. Cooling and very soothing.

    Great shave.

Enjoy your shaves, take your time and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Greetings,

An enjoyable shave to finish my shaving week off in style.

Another week of comfortable acceptable shaves.

After my introduction to to injector razors with the wonderful Schick G i pushed the boat out and purchased the Supply V2 along with the Parker InjRzr in the same order to further my passionate curiosity to try out a modern injector.

The Build & quality standard of the Supply V2 is the best razor i have purchased to date...The weight is much heavier than my other Injector razors, which is something i like in a razor. However the first few shaves it wasn't quite as easy to manoeuvre as the Schick G type injector but since then, i have adjusted to the extra weight, which i now find an added bonus.

The handle doesn't feel slippery, despite being smooth it feels grippy and good to hold making the razor feel well balanced...The added bonus i like about the supply V2 is you can disassemble to clean it, and you don't need an injector key to change the blade like you do with most other injector razors.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay Safe, and enjoy your day Ladies & Gentlemen.

I really like my Hawk from Razorock. With the 2 base plates, it is versatile. No injector needed. Blade clamping is solid. I am tempted to use my Hawk today!

    Nice shave, Barry!

The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #432. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Demaskeene OC Razor with a Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Avon Leather Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Thursday morning:

    L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Canadian Tech/Wilkinson Sword day 2
    Lyko SC
    Prep ASB
    Floid Vigoroso AS Splash

I’m really enjoying my Canadian Tech razor - yes, it’s a relatively mild DE but it’s so efficient. The Lyko cream is from India and apparently it’s very popular in barbershops over there. It has a nice aqua/minty scent, it’s very easy to lather, it gives lots of slickness, it’s mildly mentholated, and the skincare is excellent. The Prep and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave were a perfect finish. Although I only did two passes I still ended up with a very good BBS shave that I enjoyed a lot!

Have a good day - be well and safe!
