:signs001: Joe...The LEA shaving cream is excellent...It has a mild sandalwood scent, different to the "Proraso Red", with a nice kick of menthol & a great post shave feel.

Good shave this morning...went with the slightly cooler Rocky Mtn. Barber Co.(Barbershop). It's a "Shaving Cream Soap". A couple Knicks, no Cuts, No Polka-dots. 2 passes. I was careful enough on the edges of N. Porcupine not to cause any major problems, but that is where I got one of the Knicks. Good work at S.Porcupine(chin).Down at Cactus(neck)I once again skimmed over the area next to Ingrown Swamp(ingrown hair area). The cold-water-rinse and Osage cooled things down, weakening the appearance of the Knicks. I was pleased. Very Excellent.

    SRS # 731 - JustOneJulySoap- Weekdays

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Wade & Butcher 5/8 French Point
    Brush: JTSpartan Boar 24 mm
Lather: Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song
Aftershave: Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song Balm
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Humphreys Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel

I started this morning with the X3Bar Push workout, my first since returning home. It felt real good.
This morning’s shave was a repeat of yesterday with the addition of the Osage Rub. Once again, fabulous lather and a comfortably close and smooth shave. Three passes as usual.

This morning we are headed to a water park to spend the day trying to be cool. Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

Thanks, Joe. It's a Schick-style injector razor. Those thicker single-edged injector blades usually last for more shaves than a standard DE razor blade does, but 15 shaves is still pretty decent.

Hope you had a great day yourself, and a good weekend coming up!

    Good morning.

    Straight Razor Shave # 385
    6/8 Thiers-Issard Spartacus
    Hembree Delrin Timberwolf Brush
    Razorock XX SS
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 41 hrs

I decided to go with the RR XX soap because it's produces an easy lather and I can use any aftershave with it. Here is my lather:

It has been months since I used my Thiers-Issard Spartacus Razor. I forgot how sharp this razor was because I could have called my shave done after 1 pass. It mowed my 41 hr stubble like it was a picnic in the park. However, 2-pass shave and minor pickups gave me a smooth and comfortable shave.
I didn't get any alum feedback at all which made me smile. Finished this shave in my usual way. Have a great day.

I can get 15 to 16 shaves on my Personna Hairshaper blades with my Dovo Shavette and 10 to 12 on my Schick injector blades. Enjoy your weekend John.
