We are home from three days in Pigeon Forge, TN. It is good to be home. This is my first shave with my Schick Double Edge that I picked up in Pigeon Forge. The package was marked 1972.

The Proraso Green Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #188 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Double Edge Razor with a Schick Super Chromium Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

If this setup doesn’t freeze your face off then nothing will - trust me when I tell you that we’re dealing with some major menthol. Fernando’s Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave have the most gorgeous lavender scent that I ever experienced, the soap’s tallow formula promotes some of the thickness, richest, slickest lather I ever put on my face, the menthol sensation easily competes with any of the Stirling Glacials, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep gave me lots of additional postshave love, and the Frosted Lavender aftershave with its witch hazel formula went on with no burning or stinging - not only that, it’s mega frigid and its delightful scent lasts all day. Three passes left me ultra BBS but soon this Wilkinson Sword blade will be kaput. Still, I’m very pleased with this shave!

I did not shave last night but, went right to bed! So, today's shave is knocking down 2 days of growth. Another pleasant shave with the Hawk v3.

Razor - Hawk v3 with standard base plate
Blade - Feather Professional 6th shave. I think I can get 1 more shave with this blade
Soap - Ogallala Bay Rum

Post shave - Thayers toner & Geo F Trumper Skin Food

The Ogallala soap lathers really well and is easy to get the amount of water right. Nice and slick! Pleasant 3-pass shave just becuz. WTG, ATG, XTG for BBS smooth face! No cuts, nicks, or weepers. Minimal feedback from alum bar.

Continuing to use the vintage Seaforth SS, it's really good stuff and I like it. The Shave Revolution brush is an oldie but a goodie and works great for me. All the other parts worked well together and a fine shave was had. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Razor : Micromatic open comb(MMOC), Mfg 1930-1941, upper mid range, well built, sold hundreds of thousands of these models and built to last. This razor model and the 1912 model also got the company through the dirty thirties and start of WW2 until brass was in big demand for the war effort.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(9) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock American barber, milder similar scent than the RR American barber splash + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Moka 26mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, big pillow like soft tips, nice scrub, great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock American bar splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my MMOC with a Gem coated blade.

I have been using the Supply SE every day since it came a week ago. I am liking it a lot - it is an easy, comfortable injector shave. The Supply "black" injector blade, presumably a Feather blade, has 8 shaves on it and still feels smooth.

Summer weather finally came to us here in the upper left hand corner of the US and a cold water shave feels great!

Early morning shave.

The Valet Auto Strop and is my most infrequently used vintage SE razor....I have mentioned before the valet vc1 looks an "aggressive lady" but IMHO it's quite mild however, that's not to say it isn't efficient enough, like the Gem Featherweight this vintage lady will mow through stubble with effortless ease.....It took me a few shaves to adjust to this mild yet efficient vintage shaving tool, after that it was happy shaves....

It's also been a while since i last added the the Eco Warrior shaving bar to my soap rotation which performed wonderfully producing a slick protective lather in a short space of time.

The soap has a pleasant scent, a good texture it's protective, slick and most importantly the lather doesn't dissipate or dry out on the face in between each pass, leaving an impressive post shave feel.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.
