Cool water face wash. Cool water for whipping lather. Nice 2-pass shave. WTG & ATG. No cuts, nicks or weepers! Alum bar gave zero feedback.

As soon as it warms a bit, I am off to the Harley dealer to pick up a couple exhaust gaskets for the replacement exhaust Vance & Hines is sending. I am riding the bike. So nice to ride now.

Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Double Edge Razor with a Schick Super Chromium Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

DE SOTD, August 4th 2022, Den diving /Archeology theme week, found this oddity at a antique store and was used during the 1930's, glass concaved hone strop for carbon blades for improving edge for more shaves Mfg during the dirty 30's.

Razor : Yaqi dual flip-side razor with a Micromatic handle- Mfg 2020> excellent adjustable razor concept, flip 180 degrees and it mild on the comb side, the SB side is a nice mid range, made of a Zamak head that is well made, Very good results I get.
Blade : Gillette silver blue(5) sharp & smoooth with good longevity, top tier blade for myself.,
Soap :Razorock "The Dead Sea" croap- nice unique pick me up scent with excellent lather qualities. One of my favorites.
Brush : Yaqi artic sky 24mm silvertip badger- excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The Dead Sea with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Yaqi Flipside with a GSB blade.

How does the glass concave hone work? The box picture seems to show the guy with his finger on the blade on the middle of the concave surface.
