Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl
Lather : Arko Hydrate Shaving cream.
Blade: Personna Gem PTFE SS. (D6)
Razor: Ever-Ready 1912. (US)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Duru Turkish mandarin Cologne/Cien Sensitive ASB.

Greetings,

Early morning Shave.

Everything in my shave this morning paired together wonderfully.

SE razors truly are fantastic shaving tools....If i had known how wonderful smooth, & efficient SE razors where ,especially Injector razors when i first ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving i probably wouldn't have bought a DE razor as they provide and give everything i require for a close comfortable shave. , fitted with the Gem PTFE blades...My thanks again go to a fellow member of TSR forum (UK) for introducing me to them.

Another wonderful 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #340 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick 66 G-4 Razor with a Schick Plus Platinum Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Tuesday morning:

CutiBase Moisturizer
Murray & Lanman Florida Water AS Splash

Finally this heatwave ended so I was able to turn off the air conditioning. This Kent soap is exactly the same as the MWF in every way - the identical mild, pleasant scent, I find it lathers great, it’s very slick and protective, but whereas the MWF irritated and gave me a terrible rash this soap leaves a comfortable postshave feeling on my skin. It was a gift from my father-in-law this past winter. The CutiBase moisturizer is unscented and it works so well as a balm, while the Florida Water has that nice old school barbershop scent that I love so much. Three passes resulted in a perfect BBS shave that I really enjoyed!

Thanks for the information!

The reason I ask is because I have a soap and aftershave called Vintage Spice from Master Soap Creations in South Africa which I swear, smell EXACTLY like the Shulton Old Spice soap and aftershave. The way Fernando copied the scent is unbelievable!

Tuesday Shave

Lather: Valobra unscented soap
Brush: Ever Ready
Razor: Hansen AL13 +
Blade: Gillette Nacet
After: witch hazel and aloe

The Valobra soap makes an excellent lather.

This is the first time I have paired the mild AL13 with a Nacet blade. It was a smooth comfortable shave. I like this blade better than the RK blades that Hansen recommends, which I used last week. That blade is not bad, but the Nacet is smoother and closer.

ASRazor shave, August 9th 2022

Razor : Ever-Ready 1912 with a modified Gem Micromatic handle, Mfg 1936- 53, nice mid range, well built and takes the modern Gem blade still. Joy to use and easy to shave the face with.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(2) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Speick- nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. Triple milled soap in a stick very nice.
Brush : Yaqi Bali 24mm silvertip badger, new brush, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, nice gentle scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of Neutrogena Hydro boost moisturizing lotion(scentless)testing).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Ever-Ready1912 with a coated Gem blade.
