  11. Paul, we ain't your judges...we are your shaving buddies. We are here to help and we have all had the "did not work" shaves.

We just plug through them knowing the next best shave is right around the corner.

  16. Nice shave Paul. You neglected to mention the scent or title of the soap beyond the brand name.

  17. Wonderful shave and workout Joe. I went beastmode this morning by breaking 1000 strokes in a half hour and covering just under 4,000 meters. It is safe to say that I was drenched.

  18. Afternoon pleasant shave with the Hawk

Razor - Hawk v3 with open comb base plate
Blade - Feather Professional (5th shave)
    Pre-shave - Prorasso Green (Menthol)
Soap - Chiseled Face "Orange Creamsicle"
Brush - Simpson T1 Trafalgar synthetic
    Post-Shave - Thayers Toner & Proraso balm
AS - Captain's Choice "Bay Rum"

Washed face with cool water and wet the brush with same. I scooped a spoon full about size of almond of the soap and put into the lather bowl. I had to whisk at it for a bit longer to get the nice lather. I didn't have to add any more water and may have had too much in the brush! But, after a couple minutes, I had good lather. The Proraso cooled my face and this soap also cools the face. To the point of watering eyes! I can't wait to see how the "Cryogen" will be! It was nice shave with the Hawk v3 open comb. I got a couple of weepers but, the alum bar stopped them and gave no feedback. I have mastered riding the cap with this open comb/blade combo (it's a must). 2-pass shave with no cleanup WTG & ATG for a very close shave.

I was expecting feedback from the alum and got none! VERY close shave!

    Tomorrow, it's the Star 1912

  19. That I did....Ihad Razororck's Italian Shaving Soap, which I like very much. Doc Razorock says some reviewers think it has a barbershop scent. Maybe so, which is why I used it with Stephan Bay Rum today.

  20. I have several Chiseled Face soaps and so far, I like them all!
