    :signs001: joe...For me personally the Ming shi 2000s is very efficient..What i didn't mention in my posting it was the first time i had paired it together with the Feather blade.Since i've gained much shaving confidence using the Feather blade,i now know how to approach an aggressive shave set up, which is to treat both the razor & blade with respect and apply good technique.     This I have learned as well. I have finally de-programmed myself from the cartridge technique of shaving. I let the razor do the work and if it is an aggressive setup (blade & razor) I ride the cap and slowly tilt the razor until it catches. SWEET Spot!
    Now, razors that always bit me are pleasant to use and I am less likely to get a cut.

    I used a cartridge 2 blade razor for a large part of my early shaving history before I let the beard grow and did not shave for 18 years! I hated shaving. This has changed now.

    Couldn't have been happier about my shave today. The shavesoap puck is showing more "emptiness", but still a ways to go. 2 solid passes. Again, I skimmed over bits of North Porcupine, but had the presence of mind to make the necessary corrections. Cheeks&Sideburns great, Cactus Nation, the same. My jawline gathers a lot of hair ready to be shaved off the next morning. No Cuts, Knicks, or Polkadots. The Stephan Bay Rum A.S, worked well, and I closed again with Passion 4 Men(House of Elizabeth Taylor). Outta This World Excellent.

    I wore a full beard until I booted the ex out. She always wanted me to wear the beard becuz "You look younger than me without the beard!" She was 11 years my junior. This was less than a year before she left in 2007
