My bathroom smells of that A&E soapI'll be using tomorrow. Guess that takes care of the "strength of scent" persuasion.
Thank you Joe.i will try to use it enough to kill the blade throughout the month then it's next run will get another fresh one.i dislike loading these with a fresh blade then letting them sit for months between binges.beyond that their shaves are fantastic.
fair enough.with my vintage gear i keep them really clean.most of my injectors i had were nice but had decades of gunk behind where the blade sits.they were a choir to clean without the blade removed compared to others.i like the simplicity of de maintenance.once the coatings wear off on modern blades the edge will deteriorate quicker, well you know.over thinking it most likely.maybe in future i'll add an SE sunday or something similar to the rotation.
Had a nice shave with the Rolls today, I fully intended to use a Stirling... something. I think I have a brush or soap or something of thiers... but I forgot. Anyway, nice shave, 3 passes, 2 wtg, 1 xtg. Razor: Rolls Razor Soap: SV Cosmo, Brush: Shavemac two-band D01/Wolfwhiskers handle. Aftershave: Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve EdT: RL Safari for Men
Thanks Joe! I appreciate it. I definitely can use pointers especially if I pull out the barber razors this month, but I will start with the Hawk since it is newest to the den. - David
