  1. Thanks!

I really like Julie's work. I have a few of her shave bowls as well as a large bowl scuttle she customized for me (pictured in my avatar). One of her shave bowls is holding the Stirling pre-shave soap in my shave picture for today.

  2. Thank you Joe..y'know, I was thinking....if/whenever I get around to pictures, I'll take pics of the next day's shave on the previous night, at first anyway. I'd sure hate to drop my phone into the sink. Another problem with such a small bathroom.

  3. Paul, that's what I usually do. It's less stressful when you take a pic of the setup the night before. Also, you don't have to worry what your setup will be for the following morning or day because it's already laid out on the counter.

  4. In fact, here is my setup for tomorrow morning's shave. The GEM MMOC volunteered for the assignment.

  5. Right...I do notice members put their lineup in various places, not necessarily in their bathrooms.

  6. Well, all my shots are on my bathroom counter. However, you can take a pic of your setups on your kitchen table or counter.

  7. The building near me that used to be the town bookstore was bare for the longest time after the store moved. I kept hoping for a shaving-related company to move in. It's now an Asian-American food store. Would have been great for a Clubman store!!! Or better yet, RISE.

  16. he is very good, but his vids are to promote sales at his store, which is annoying.very good if you are learning a product he sells and you like his prices..:)
  17. very cool.what i chose also..;)

  18. Yes, I agree. It is a great marketing strategy, but his Shave Nation items are overpriced. However, you can say the same thing about Matt Pisarcik of Razor Emporium who makes the Rex Ambassador, the Envoy and the Konsul.

  19. of course .he has done some interesting gillette history vids without the blatant sales pitch, but in the big picture it's for sales..:)
