  1. :signs001: Joe...The Wickham 1912 Classic 24 is definitely a one to try in the future if giving the opportunity to do so. Having too much variety isn't always a good thing, you don't always have the time to use it up. You will feel better once you've reduced the den. :happy088:

  3. An upsetting Throwback Thursday shave, due to 2 cuts along S. Porcupine(chin). Most everywhere else checked out. I left too much astroturf just above Ingrown Swamp(ha;fway along the right jawline. As for the cuts, I'm going to try and get more soap on the brush next time...hopefully to result in a better lather. r It looked too dr thus I added some water. .. 2 passes. No additional cuts(2 is enough), Knicks, Polka-dots. The Osage A.S. helped a little with the cuts, and provided that nice fresh OR feel everywhere else. Very Exeellent. Hope to do better tomorrow with same.

We have a delightfully cool and breezy morning here on LI which is perfect for another intense X3Bar Pull workout. Nothing like getting the blood flowing so early in the morning. The missus and the son are out of the house early and the MOLC is back in full swing for year number two.

I did a three pass shave, shocking I know, with the Puma 65. The end result with the assistance of a luxurious lather was another extremely close and irritation free shave. The scent is f the soap and splash are as follows: “Sangre De Drago is a potent, mystical, alchemical blend of Dragons Blood*, Sandalwood, Indonesian Oud (Agarwood), Benzoin, Tonka, Linaloe Wood, Spruce Hemlock, Amyris, Labdanum, Sage, Neroli and Tobacco Absolute.” This scent will be with me throughout the day.

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

  10. Excellent Star 1912 shave! It is such a pleasure to shave with. Lavender added to the pleasure.

    Razor - Star 1912
Blade - GEM Personna SS 3rd
    Pre-shave - TOBS Herbal Gel
Soap - Castle Forbes Lavender cream
    Brush - Simpson T1 Trafalgar
Post - Thayers Toner "Rose Petal" & Proraso balm
AS - Pinaud Clubman "Whiskey Woods"

Shaving with the Star is always a pleasure. Razor glides nice with no worries of nicks. I got super close with a 2-pass shave WTG & ATG with no cleanup. No feedback from alum bar and zero cuts, nicks, or errors. I hope all have a pleasant day!

My parts for bike are still not in....2 weeks!

  11. Terrific Thursday shave Hogie. It also helps that lavender is a very nice scent. That's a shame about the parts not being delivered. However, have a great day.

  16. Nice shave Ken. I have an Android that I have to choose the length and width ratio of my pics so that I can download. Even with this situation, I still have to crop if my photo is bigger than 1 MB, but that's not a problem for me.
  17. I have to crop mine down too. I always use my Nikon. Big pics but, the phone creates HUGE files! The Nikon is more manageable. Camera is getting old and quirky now tho.....and I don't like any of the newer cameras. Mine is compact.
  18. Thank you Joe.

  19. Very nice shave Joe. Interesting pairing of the soap and the Veg. I probably would not have considered it.
