  1. Much better shave this morning than yesterday. 0:30 to load the Maggard Marble Handle. 2 passes. I went comfortably over yesterday's cuts...no further damage. Cheeks&sideburns look fine. Porcupine Alley checks out. Jawline looks good. Ditto Cactus Nation. I can foresee getting to the bottom of the soap, then having to scoop along sides to bring that section into the middle. Maybe a lot of us end up doing that. I did a little more of. the Osage than yesterday, but my face and neck aren't swimming in it. Good cool feel. Closed with Mutamayez by House of Swiss Arabian. Outta This World Excellent.

  2. Great shave and pics Joe. Weeps do happen every now and then. I poked my top ear with Max this morning. I guess that makes us blood Brothers. Lol! Enjoy your day.

  7. Lavender shave was very nice.

Razor - Hawk v3 (new barber pole handle)
Blade - Feather Professional 2nd use
Soap - Castle Forbes Lavender cream
    Brush - Simpson T2 Trafalgar
    Pre-shave - Proraso White
Post shave - Thayers toner "Lavender" (new) & Captain's Choice Venture AS Balm
    AS Pinaud Clubman - Vanilla

Washed face while I warmed the bowl & brush with HOT water. This cream soap lathers very easy. Love the scent! I did a 2-pass with minimal cleanup WTG & ATG. Back to smooth again! The Hawk with the standard plate is very efficient and it really does tame the Professional blades to the point of being mild. Simply amazing! No cuts, nicks, or weepers! Alum was silent today.

I hope all have just as pleasant of a shave!

  8. I make sure that I am quite focused while doing my videos, but I have had weepers on some of my videos. With straight shaving, a light touch is imperative so that any cuts, knicks or weepers will be minimal.
  9. Terrific shave and setup Hogie.

  10. I am so tempted to try one of my straights. The Puma is very nice and after stropping it, it is VERY sharp. It cuts the hair off my arm easily. But, I am going to stick with the DX and ProGuard blades to refine my technique. I am getting better. But, I need to refine my "Light Touch" better before I try a VERY sharp open blade

fine d-503 lather built with the yaqi silvertip.
did a light swipe with the grain on the cheeks and neck with the platinum loaded parker barber's razor.
didn't use traditional razor holding grips and held it like a kamisori.
very nice, took my time but not too slow.
cleaned up with a pass plus buffing with the platinum loaded brit tech.
    awesome.
