    Greetings,

    Early Morning Shave,

A wonderful shave to finish my shaving week off and the focus run of the Dorco Prime Platinum blade which have been a joy to shave with throughout the focus run.
Out of the three Dorco DE blades that i have revisited the Prime Platinum are my favourite. I find them smooth forgiving and efficient which for me is a great combination and are well suited to my skin type'.

The WS boar brush was my first brush and still a work horse. Nothing fancy but nothing wrong with it either. It doesn't have much backbone and has shred a hair or two over the years, but it still does the job what more is required.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick- ups comfortable silky-smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling smooth cool & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

  14. Thank you, Joe. The WS brush handle is excellent, a good shape size, & weight. When the knot is beyond its best I may re-knot it for sentimental purposes...You never forget your first of anything in life. Enjoy your day.

    Shavette Shave # 181

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Razor Retro Shavette
Blade: Kai Captain Pro Titan Pro Touch MG (4)
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
Lather: Proraso Aloe and Vitamin E
    Aftershave: B & M Sandalwood
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum

Wonderful shave following a well deserved night of shut eye. I will be using the Proraso cream for most, if not all of my shaves here in the Hoosier state.

I did my usual three pass shave. The Kai blade is still going strong. I may extend the blade past my normal 5 shaves just to determine if I can still get some wonderful results. An effortless comfortable shave with a silent alum report. I must be doing something right.

    Enjoy you day gentlemen.

  19. I had another great shave today with my Red Tip Gillette (1956). Throw-back Thursday! I hope I nailed it!

    Razor - Gillette Red Tip
    Blade - Gillette Wilkinson Sword
    Pre-shave - Proraso Red
Shave soap - MWF (getting down to the unscented puck underneath)
    Brush - Simpson T2 Trafalgar
Post-shave - Thayers toner "Lavender"& Geo F Trumper "Skin Food" balm
    AS - Pinaud Clubman

Showered while the bowl and brush warmed with HOT water. Hot washcloth to the face to really warm it! Theo watched the whole shave. The Red Tip may be considered a more aggressive razor but, it did me very nice today. Pleasant. Weight of the razor! Ride the cap! I did a 2-pass shave WTG & ATG. I did manage to nick my jawline just as I was finishing! Alum bar was mostly silent. I just hadta try to geta bit of missed stubble on the right jawline and it bit me! Alum stopped it. I could feel it when it happened too!

Theo was like "I told ya to be careful!!"
