I am new to all of this. I am 56 years old. I've been in a nursing home 3 years with multiple sclerosis. I can still function a little bit. I ran into straight razor collecting somehow and so here I am. I'm trying to learn everything I can. I'm learning how to restore the razors I will be buying once I learn which ones I should be looking for. it's more of a hobby for me. I can only do so much. being in a nursing home limits me also. I make my own scales with a coping saw and a jeweler saw. I have a Dremel hidden under my table but it makes so much noise I can't risk using it very much. I ask a lot of questions, I talk a lot, and I love to learn. glad to be here, look forward to the experience. my name is Jimmie
who would think that this could be overwhelming? LOL. thank all of you guys for being here it's nice to know there are others with the same obsession.
Welcome, @jimmie , to The Shave Den from the North Cackalacky Division. I, too, am a Jimmie. You might want to join the League of Jims. Happy to help you in any way.
"I asked a lot of questions, I talk a lot, and I love to learn." Wow, did you ever find a perfect shaving home! Welcome!
