    The Palmolive Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #277 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Sheraton and the Astra SP Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Just got this splash in the mail...yes, 1/4 of it or so leaked out. Working with the retailer on a solution. I never had Floid Blue so I cannot compare it to the original. I am a huge fan of Fine splashes generally, but I think I prefer the B&M Reserve Cool on initial thought.

    SE SOTD, Thursday, OCtober 20th, 2022.

    Razor :     Valet Auto-strop OC, C1 model, Canadian variant- Mfg 1920's, mid range, built well for its time period, I modified my gap from 11/1000 to 7/1000 of inch for a smoother shave. The razor was abused by previous owners and need some attending care to make it function again back 3 yrs ago. Very enjoyable shave this morning for a old 100 year old razor.
    Blade : Modified Gem SS PTFE (1) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + the safest blade to handle IMO.
    Soap : Ogallala Bayrum Sage & Cedarwood, nice scent of Bayrum with excellent lather qualities. I tend to have a pastier lather when bowl lathering and then apply to a wet face works well for myself with this soap. Very nice soap to me and works well.
    Brush : Yaqi" Sagrada Familia" 22mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. One of my favorite Yaqi badger brushes.
    Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Not a lather hog.
    Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
    Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse, Ogallala Bayrum with Sandalwood [​IMG] + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
    Results :CCS,DFS,BbS + ,minimal irritation + 1 blemish weepers=[​IMG] excellent shave with my Valet auto-strop with a modified coated Gem blade.

    I may have to dig out my similar razor. I have both the regular handle and the short "Travel" one too. I looked at it and almost used it yesterday. maybe tomorrow!

    Yes, it is snazzy looking and nice heft to it. It is what the 94R came with and I like it. Very efficient razor too! I let the weight do all the work. I like hefty razors.

    Razor: Rockwell 6 S on Plate 3 // Blade: Gillette 7 o ´clock black // Soap: Phoenix & Beau Spitfire // Brush: RazoRock Barber 24 // Aftershave: Phoenix & Beau Spitfire

    This scent is so awesome!!! Leather over Leather mixed with a touch of „Engine-Oil“, at least for my nose…The Razor performed well with the blade and the Aftershave topped it.

    Great shave!!!
