ASRazor shave, Tuesday, November 8th 2022, Election day in USA! Razor : Ever-Ready streamline 2nd generation- Mfg 1949-53, upper mid range, one of the nicest looking ASR razors and well built to last with some care. The blade stops are set forward more than other ASR razors that hold a Gem blades to create more blade feel. Installed a RIGS shim to smooth it out a little more. Very easy going shave with a blade on 10 uses. Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(10) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle IMO. Soap : Razorock Irish Country side, nice unique sharp clean scent with excellent lather qualities. Very slick soap. Brush : Yaqi "black marble" 24mm silver tip badger, WoW hair bloom, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, nice gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Very fine hairs that give a gentle smooth face feel. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock Irish country side with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Ever-Ready Streamline with a coated Gem blade. Have some great shaves!

SE SOTD, Thursday, November 10th 2022 Razor : Yaqi Katana SE Yaqi, Aluminum chrome coated retracting handle- Mfg 2019> mid range, interesting simple clamping system, takes 1/2 blades ( I scissor snip my blades in the wrapper) takes a few tries and to figure the best way to load a blade. I enjoy using this simple affordable razor. Blade : Astra SS (1) sharp & smooth with great longevity. Soap : Arko stick, different bold clean scent, excellent lather qualities. One of the best soaps to take to any tropical climate(Mexico, Costa Rico...) when travelling, ants & bugs do not like this scent and run for their lives bumping into things from teary eyes from my experience . Great soap to have around regardless of any controversy comes with it about it's scent. Best travel soap from my experiences IMO! Brush : Yaqi" Casino clubs" 26mm timber wolf knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Remembrance day, SE SOTD, Friday, November 11th 2022 Razor : Yaqi Excalibur AC 50mm + Milano polished Yaqi handle- Mfg 2021>, excellent tame mid range, interesting simple clamping system, small head parts and this razor checks a lot of the boxes for a decent shaver 95%> of the time. Could be a daily driver for some folks IMO. Blade : Schick Proline p30 50mm (6)- sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity, one of the better blades that works well with this razor! Soap : Arco stick, bright bold clean scent 7/10 + excellent lather qualities, excellent travel stick and it just works great regardless of the scent critics have labelled it , the scent ,well I always follow with a aftershave with all my soaps I use . Great post shave feel also on the face with this soap. Brush : Yaqi "Moka express" 26mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, big pillow soft tips, excellent splay scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
