Am I ever loving this Vintage Spice soap and aftershave - this is the second time this week that I used them. As I said before many times they’re both a perfect copy of the beloved Shulton Old Spice in every way imaginable. The scent is so beautiful, the soap lathers like there’s no tomorrow, it’s so slick because it’s tallow based, and it’s so skin friendly. The Aveeno moisturizer is unscented so it doesn’t disrupt the scent of the soap and it’s so soothing. Finally the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with no stinging or burning sensation and it’s such a perfect clone of the Shulton Old Spice aftershave - not only that, the lovely scent lasts all day. Three glorious passes gave me a mega BBS shave that was so much fun!

SE SOTD, Friday, November 18th, 2022

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur 50mm with a Yaqi Milano polished handle. Mfg 2021>, upper mild >tame mid range, simple way of clamping AC 50mm blades, affordable + stellar shaves. Very easy going carefree shave this morning with a new blade.
Blade : Schick Proline p30 (1), sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. Good blade match for this razor IMO.
Soap : Gillette Pure cream, nice clean sweet scent(masculine) with excellent lather qualities. Also makes excellent ubber lather.
Brush : Yaqi "Orbital ring" 24mm boar brush, excellent lather generator, soft split end tips boar bristle hairs, great splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm with a Schick Proline p 30 blade.
