Dec 4 SOTA Good afternoon. Rockwell 6C (plate 4) Gillette Winner DE Blade (final use) Omega Pro 49 Boar Brush Stirling Barbershop SS Pinaud-Clubman Classic AS Stirling Alum Block Beard Growth: 1 day Getting ready for tonight's services so a shave is in order Everything went well, but the blade got a little tuggy on my final pass. I picked out the Barbershop because I like the scent and my 1 oz sample is almost finished. I may have 2 shaves left, but I will see if my prediction rings true. It never does. Lol! The boar made a nice, thin but slick lather and that is because there isn't much soap left in the puck. I should've used a synthetic brush. Oh well. Two passes gave me BBS, but my side chain got a small irritation from the tuggy blade. The alum let me know about it that's for sure. Splashed on the P/C aftershave to end this pleasant shave. Take care.
Scoop and press into your bowl for the next usage of this soap. May get more volume. Great shave Joe.
Colibri (Hummingbird) with 1.10mm solid bar base plate. Razorock Thick Bar handle. Astra SP blade (2). Yaqi Twist 24mm synthetic brush. Fine Accoutrements Fresh Vetiver shave soap. Timeless Razor shave bowl. Cremo Bourbon and Oak EdT. Awesome Sunday shave. This shaving thing is absolutely fun. Take care everyone!
.seems the norm for most gillette blades i've tried.though i got 4 nice shaves from the polsilver before i binned it.
Originally, I was going to do that, but I wanted to experiment and see for myself why the boar doesn't do well unless you pick up plenty of soap. This was noted from one of my fav shaving you tuber.
