    Thank you, Joe. Great minds think alike indeed. The Muhle R41 has to be one of the most deceivingly looking efficient open comb DE razors on offer. My shave with it today was BBS.

    Pic was taken right after my workout this morning. I have a 50th high school reunion late next year and that will be plenty of time to really look good. Lol!

    Had a fine shave. Everything went well. Two pass error-free, close and comfortable shave. I made the lather a little more like a Santa Claus Beard. Hey it's the season to do one. Lol! The Winner blade seems to be approaching its lifespan. I may have one more shave with it. The alum feedback was slight. Splashed in the matching aftershave to finish this session. Take care.

    Busy day painting my favorite room, the place where my culinary talents are put together. Yes, my kitchen, which caught my eye when I purchased the house almost twenty years ago, is quite large. Therefore, the painting g process will take a good part of a week.

    Prior to my painting endeavor, I had a great workout followed by an equally uplifting shave with the Merkur 37c. The 37c was my first DE I purchased for myself, 25 years ago, when I decided that I no longer wanted to shave with carts. Three passes left my face super smooth and ready to get on with the day.
