SMOKE?

Just wanted to see if anyone noticed it.....Why was I looking at the horses butt? I am a butt man

 

Since Smoke can't recieve any messages due to his inbox being full I have closed the open ads he had here. There is also the possibility that he might be breaking the rules for the Classifieds section so; We fully understand your concern and we will ask Smoke to resolve these issues before he can post in Classifieds again.

I think we all have gotten the message by now, so please don't make this into a shooting spree.

And again, my intent wasn't to insult or accuse - but to make aware to others the fact that there is an ongoing issue that cannot be resolved by contacting him offline.

 

Congrats on 3k Johan. Good on you for closing the thread. But us americans sure do love to use our rifles.

 

My posts about SMOKE were more about worrying about him. As I said, it was I who was trying to give something to him, not waiting for him. Guys, I will personally vouch for Joel (SMOKE) at anytime. If he is behind in getting to you it is because of bad luck in the family life.

While I've not had any dealings with this individual, I appreciate all of you keeping this civil. Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. Other times, repeated behavior leads to certain expectations. I only hope these things get resolved to the satisfaction of all involved.

 

I am not trying to start something but I am just curious, in the other thread he said he refunded a lot of people money, is there anyone that was actually confirmed as getting a refund?

 

I Just got a PM from SMOKE. He was a bit sick last week but is getting better now.
So hopefully he'll be able to tidy up all the open ended trades/sales that are currently outstanding.

 

I will be the first to say that weird stuff happens with USPS sometimes too. There was a particular Christmas, MANY years ago, that I sent out about a dozen boxes via USPS. These packages were going to different parts of the country also. A da,mn month went by before I found out that all the packages got there after Christmas, AND THEY HAD BEEN OPENED!! A close friend of mine, who was a somebody with USPS informed me that the local office had received a memo from the ATF to forward any packages they had with my name on them directly to them!! Why? I have no recollection of the events in question.............

 

I believe wksimple and mizrachi both received refunds. Maybe some others too.

 

For what it's worth, and in all fairness to Smoke, not only did I receive what I had ordered, but Smoke included a fat-handle Tech, a few packs of blades, and some sample creams as a token for his tardiness. Granted, it took almost six months, but I received everything and then some.

He has had some tough times the past six months and seems to now be bouncing back slowly. I would cut him a little slack. YMMV.

 

I'm more than willing to cut slack, and like my original post said - first and foremost I hope all is well, and I did mean it.

 

Anyone heard from this guy? It's now been 8 months and he continues his pattern of saying "Oh! I thought I mailed this! It'll be right out!"
Of course it never arrives and then he ignores his emails. Then he finally checks back in and the pattern repeats itself. He even went so far as to claim he sent the package to another member in a pain killer induced stuper. Of course I followed up with that other member. They never received that package. It doesn't look like he's posted here in a while. So he's either moved onto ebay or another website to screw people.

 

no wonder some people got pissed at me.

 

This pile of trash needs to be avoided.
