ASRazor shave, January 3rd 2023 Razor: Gem G bar, Mfg 1955-58, tame mid range, well built to last with some care, it has a excellent coating of chrome for longevity IMO, first razor I used in the Gem brand and have never looked back at excellence in shaving. Stellar shave this morning. Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (3) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle. Soap : Razorock XXX, nice unique clean scent + excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Barber pole" 24mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, excellent splay scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Razorock XXX Edt. Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gem G bar with a coated Gem blade. Have some great shaves!

4 January, 2023 Prep: Hot towel Razor: Merkur 34C HD Blade: Nacet Brush: New Forest Tubby 1 Finest Soap: Barrister & Mann: Promises ( Glissant ) Post: CeraVe moisturising lotion.. today I dragged out my 1st ever D/E razor, the Merkur 34C HD, and although it provided a very efficient shave with the Nacet, I will be looking for a smoother blade.

Wednesday morning: Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Goodfella 3 Piece/Astra Green day 12 Hega Shaving Stick Prep ASB Booster Polar Ice AS Splash Aramis EdT This Hega stick is from Sweden and it must be at least 100 years old if not more. Surprisingly enough its scent is still intact and it’s so nice - very old school and barbershoppy, it lathers like a champ after all these years, and it leaves such a comfortable postshave feeling. My friend Thomas Svensson who’s from Sweden sent it to me along with some other antique goodies which I use perhaps once a year because I want to make them last as long as possible since they’re no longer available. The Prep gave me its wonderful cooling, moisturizing, soothing care, and the Polar Ice aftershave is a Canadian barbershop classic - do I ever love the scent. Also I’m really loving the Aramis - it was a birthday gift from my aunt a couple of years ago. Two passes were enough to give me a BBS shave that was fit for a king! Hi Friends, Here my Shave of the Day (04.01.2022) Razor: Blackland Vector // Blade: KAI Captain Titan Mild // Soap: Valobra Almond // Brush: RazoRock 400 // Aftershave: Dapper Dan green A very fine shave. I have not used the Vector for a long time…do not know why. Today i was in the mood for a shave with it. Together with a soap which i use rarely. Unfortunately it is discontinued…the brush had no problems whipping up a great lather with great glide and cushion. 2,5 passes later i was completely BBS. A healthy dose of the Dapper Dan green Aftershave and i was smelling like gentleman out of the 1950´s. What a lovely scent. The menthol in it kicked really good, so it was a very refreshing shave.
