Great shave and setup Paul! It's the first time that I have seen a vintage Bismark on this thread. Thanks for sharing it.

    Greetings,

A wonderful shave to finish my shaving week off in style with an eclectic shaving assortments from my shaving den that i've infrequently used.

The Gillette Tech is a remarkable in-expensive razor that i will always have in my shaving den.

My reacquaintance with Both the Treet Black Carbon & Centwin SP throughout the week has been superb.

I feel as though with i could quite easily get another 1-2 shaves from the Centwin SP.

A very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

    Ikon B1 Standard head.
    Razorock handle.
    Feather blade (fresh).
    Tabac shave soap.
    Timeless Razor shave bowl.
Irish Chestnut by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

The Ikon Standard is a beefed up homage to the Gillette tech. It is a mild shaver and pairs great with a Feather. Very nice three pass with just a hint of alum.

If you have never tried Tabac don't count it out......good slick goodness.

    Happy Thursday!

    SRS # 820 - 1508.5 Project -Prairie Song
“First” Razor Shave - SRS - Thiers-Issard Super Gnome

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Thiers-Issard Super Gnome Extra
Brush: Leo Frilot Custom NYR 26 mm Synthetic
Lather: Lakewood Soap Company Prairie Song
    Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel

Another superb shave with the Thiers-Issard this morning. The lather whipped up by the Leo Frilot synthetic brush was thick and abundant. A small almond size scoop of the soap pressed into the bowl was enough for the job with ample amount of soap available for several more passes or enough to share with my son if he was in need of a shave. That day will come soon enough.

Off to do some errands on this dreary weather day. Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

Beauty of a shave on this, the weekly "Throwback Thursday". My brush preparation has worked for me-wet it for a few seconds in the sink, squeeze it out mostly in the sink, but let a few drops go into the soap. Good coverage of the face and neck with the Stoylin brush. I left a bit of Astroturf on my skin at the cheeks, but not enough to be super upset about. That's going to keep happening until I drill it in me that shaving shouldn't be as ROUTINE as I made it to be in the past. Fine everywhere else. No cuts, Knicks, polka-dots. The New Spice aftershave is very nice....a dupe of the Shulton persuasion-well, I'll say 98% of a dupe. Outta This World Excellent.

Thank you Gary....y'know it angers me some that we now see different forms of Old Spice A.S. and Rise shaving cream. I kinda thought they were doing fine but to quote Bobby Dylan-The Times, They Are A Chagin. I didn't think the act of shaving had to change WITH the times.
