The Proraso Red Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #199 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Enders Speed Shaver and the Schick Proline B-20 Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Another Dutch soap that I received a couple of days ago and I think it’s quite nice. This Brick is made by a Dutch barber who seems to prefer to keep it for himself and for shaving his customers so I was lucky that I got this one. The scent is mild but very pleasant - not an old school type, in fact it’s very modern at least to me. It’s a hard soap and it gives excellent lather which is thick, rich, as well as protective, and the skincare is decent. The Proraso Blue balm gave me great soothing, and the Max Disinfecting aftershave stung like hell for a second or two but then it felt like heaven - this stuff smells awesome also. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed a lot!

SE SOTD, Friday, January 13th 2023

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur with a Yaqi Milano handle, SE 50mm AC -Mfg 2021>, tame mid range, simple blade clamping system, small head parts. I really enjoy using this razor and it gives stellar shaves 95% of the time. Daily driver for some folks IMO.
Blade : Schick proline p30(3) sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity for a AC blade.
Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda cream, nice fresh minty lavender with excellent lather qualities. One of my favorites, lavender soaps are just awesome for skin protection is what I think and relaxing also known.
Brush : Yaqi "Aqua" 24mm high mountain silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, very nice gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper = Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur with Milano handle with a Schick proline. Very enjoyable shave this morning even half asleep.
