The Shavemac D01 knots have by far the most backbone of any knot I have used. It’s really something else until the knot is broken in. I’ve read some describe it as lathering with a velvet covered brick. Now that I have it fully broken in, I find it to be a wonderful knot.

Today, I am going to talk about my newest brush. It's a Bristle Brushwerks Hucklaration, with a Declaration Grooming B5 knot.
That's a mouthful and will be hence forth known as simply the Hucklaration B5.
This knot is second only to the great B2, which I had and mos def© stupidly let go of.
The B5 is like shaving with a new tennis ball (softest one you can find) it's that dense.
Bit of a lather hog, as well, but man-o-man does it feel incredible on the face.
The Faux Tortoise handle is quite ergonomic.
Side Note: This brush is an earlier version from Bristle Brushwerks, before they started putting a coin in the handle.
    Now, Primo must re-acquire a B2...:lam:

Gorgeous brush Joseph. Sounds just like the DO1 knot. Congrats.

After almost two months of using ‘neglected’ DE blades, the Supply with a sharp Proline was awesome. Thanks to @clint64 for making it available a few years ago.

Happy Wednesday Everyone. I was up very early this morning and had just enough time to make coffee before my phone blew up with one crisis after another. I finally managed to get a shave, shower and lunch at 3:30pm. At least the shave was a great one. I sure hope tomorrow is easier than today.

The Gillette was loaded with a once-used 7 O'Clock Black. Still very sharp.
Tomorrow, I am going to transfer the remaining soap into my Aesop stainless steel bowl.
The next plateau of a good 3017, the first...come on??? You know, say it...

Please provide concentricity measurements so that we can estimate shaves remaining (assuming fast 'n loose lathering methods) on the puck. If you are more familiar with eccentricity measurements, as I suspect you are, that would also suffice. :think002:

La Savonnière du Moulin~~Rubberset 400/3~~Kampfe Bros. Star/Gem~~Small Batch Shave Tonic
As the observant viewer will notice, the Ass Milk now resides in my shaving bowl, where it will spend its last days.
Fantastic lather was created by the Rubberset. Rich 'n Creamy; Über-protective and sublimely slick.
The Star razor guided the Gem blade deftly over my face and cleaned up the 24hr stubble with aplomb.
Picked the stank to please Dr. Mrs. Primo.
Yes...I can be very considerate, if needed.

Mine was challenging, but as I sip on a tall, vodka/grapefruit, things are looking up. :eatdrink047:
